The New Boy in Town

Well, not so new really. But it was only the second time I'd met him and the first time I've taken any photos of him. Hello Oisín!

Alex and Hayden

The Campbell-Shaws came to visit us in Hilltown. Alex and Hayden got along fine with only the usual toddler "thats mine / I want that" scraps. The ballet dancing session was a bit hit. Though Alex is currently refusing to dance if she isn't wearing her ballet dancing hairband.

Snow

It has been snowing here again. It is a bit pretty. But it is mostly slippy. I'm meant to be going to a spa on Monday to celebrate Paula's birthday. I will be most incredibley miffed if the weather is still bad and I can't go. There will be sulking!

Sauce

We had a Scott family dinner here the other weekend. Alex and George helped Ian make the chocolate sauce for dessert.

Those literary greats

http://www.plinky.com/answers/14049

Now I haven't read anything by Cecelia Ahern so perhaps she is very good and didn't just get a publishing deal because of who her daddy was but perhaps Joyce should come higher up the list.

A Lot of Scotts

Uncle Peter was over visiting from Florida so we went down to Hatfield Peverel to meet him. Alex was amazingly well behaved. She was delighted about everything. "Wow" - the cats. "Wow" - the profiteroles. "Wow" - the chocolate pudding (and who could blame her). "Wow" - the snow. "Wow Toby miaowed" - the cat miaowed!

The Brothers Scott

Snow!

There was great excitement. We were down in Hatfield Peverel and it started to snow. Alex was delighted.

Stephanie wasn't so sure.

Birthday Cake

We made Ian a birthday cake. There was just enough cake mix left to make the cake.
